Christmas Celebration 2025

On 14 December 2025, Dharma Jyothi Social Centre organized a Christmas get-together for the beneficiary children at the Vidya Jyothi School auditorium. The programme was inaugurated by the Parish Priest of Adyapadi Church, Rev. Fr. Francis Rodrigues, who also delivered the Christmas message.

Dr. Ananth Prabhu addressed the gathering and provided valuable awareness on cyber crimes. The President of the programme, Rev. Sr. Leena V. J., SRA, presided over the programme and addressed the gathering. During the programme, the 10th and 2nd Year PUC students who scored distinction marks in the academic year 2024–2025 were honored.Sr. Reena Monteiro, SRA distributed the prizes to the achievers.

The Director of Dharma Jyothi Social Centre, Rev. Sr. Veera Monis, SRA extended a warm welcome to the gathering. The programme was compered by Mrs. Sunitha, and Mrs. Neetha proposed the vote of thanks. A total of 1,336 children and parents participated in the programme. After the programme, a sumptuous meal was served to all.

Mental Health–based Women Empowerment awareness

On 18.12.2025, a Mental Health–based Women Empowerment awareness program was organized at the Anganwadi Center, Kuppepadav, jointly by Dharma Jyothi Social Centre, Vamanjoor, and Dr. M. V. Shetty Institute of Science and Management. The program was conducted by Ms. Soujanya, the coordinator of the Angar Foundation, who served as the resource person. She spoke about mental stress management among women, emphasizing the importance of emotional balance and self-care. A total of 34 women actively participated in and benefited from the program.

On 03.12.2025, at the Dharma Jyothi Social Service Center, Vamanjoor, a sponsorship support program was organized under the Gramabhivruddhi Sangha. As part of the program, Joe met with the beneficiaries and a variety of cultural activities were conducted. The guests spoke to the children about the importance of education and conveyed their Christmas festival wishes. A total of 44 tuition students participated in the program. From the Dharma Jyothi Social Centre, Ms. Renita and Ms. Precilla actively took part in this program.

On 22.12.2025, the staff Christmas celebration was held at the Dharmajothi Social Service Institution. The institution’s office bearers Sr. Leena, Sr. Anni, Sr. Lora, Ms. Vinola, along with other SRA convent sisters, participated in this program. The staff members conducted a prayer service. The President of the Centre addressed and motivated the staff members with a speech. Christmas gifts were distributed to all the staff. At the end of the program, arrangements for a meal were made.
