Informative Programme on “ The Future of India”

25th June 2025 Dharma Jyothi Social Centre, in collaboration with the Department of P.G Research in Social Work, Mangalore University Konaje organized an informative programme on “The Future of India” by Mr. Sai Prakash, an MSW student as the resource person. He spoke about ‘our future is in our hands’ and encouraged students to work with dedication and commitment towards building a better nation.

Women’s Federation Meeting along with an awareness programme focusing on Women’s Security.

26th July 2025, the Dharma Jyothi Centre organized a Women’s Federation Meeting along with an awareness programme focusing on Women’s Security. The session was led by Sr. Priya Veronica SRA, who addressed the gathering by sharing insightful real-life examples that shed light on the importance of safety, self-awareness, and empowerment for women in today’s society. A total of 33 members attended the programme and benefitted from the interactive and informative session.

Dharma Jyothi Centre Inaugurated its new Tailoring Classes

1st August 2025, the Dharma Jyothi Centre inaugurated its new Tailoring Classes at its premises. The inaugural event was graced by the presence of Sr. Laura SRA, Sr. Marylit SRA, Sr. Reena SRA, and the Director of Dharma Jyothi Centre, Sr. Veera SRA.

Sr. Rency SRA, a lawyer, addressed the gathering and delivered an inspiring talk on the importance of self-employment, highlighting how skill-based training can lead to economic independence and a brighter future for women. The programme began with a warm welcome by Sr. Rachel SRA. A total of 32 women participated in the session, showing great enthusiasm to begin their journey in learning tailoring skills.
