Awareness programme and Kit distribution for the Disabled

On 3rd March 2025, Dharma Jyothi Social Centre organized a program titled “Appreciation in Life is Encouragement - The Power of the Disabled” along with a kit distribution event in Talapady Grama Panchayat. Resource person Sr. Priya D’souza SRA emphasized that people with disabilities possess their own unique arts, skills, and talents, and it is essential to recognize and respect these abilities. PDO. Mr. Keshav Poojary gave the introductory note, Panchayat President Mrs. Seetha and Sr. Reena SRA were present at the event. 75 specially disabled individuals received food kits, and 262 villagers attended the event

International Womens Day Celebration at Pilikula, Vamanjoor

On March 8, 2025 Dharma Jyothi Social Centre Vamanjoor in collaboration with Regional Science Centre Pilikula organized International Womens Day program in Regional Science Centre, Pilikula, Moodushedde. Dr. K.V.Rao, presided over the programme and encouraged the women to accelerate . Resource Person, Prof. Anurada, spoke on the theme of international womens day 2025 “Accelerate Action” and significant contributions of women in every sphere. District Mission Coordinator Mrs. Anushya, provided information regarding the government schemes for Women. Dharma Jyothi social centre Director, Sr. Joel Lasrado SRA welcomed the gathering. Sr. Hildegard Fernandes SRA spoke on Anti human trafficking. At the end of the program games were conducted distributed the prizes. Cultural program was enjoyed by all. 146 women were present for the program. The celebration concluded with the lunch.
