Children Day Celebration

Children Day was celebrated on November 15, 2025, at the Yedurupadav Village Development Centre. The children were taught about the significance of the day and the importance of becoming good citizens of society. Various competitions were organized for them, and prizes were distributed to the winners. Cultural programs performed by the children, added joy to the event. The children celebrated the day with great happiness. A total of 45 tuition students participated, and teachers Mrs. Renita and Dilashad were present.

Awareness Program on Substance Abuse

On 20 November 2025, Dharma Jyothi Social Centre conducted an awareness program on substance abuse at Kuppepadav Government Higher Primary School. The session was led by Ms. Varshitha, an M.S.W. student, who provided an informative and insightful presentation on the dangers and consequences of substance abuse. A total of 67 students and 4 teachers attended the program.

Women Federation meeting

On 29 November 2025, a Women Federation meeting was held at the Dharma Jyothi Social Centre under the leadership of the Director, Sr. Veera Monis SRA. During the meeting, various issues were discussed, and she emphasized the importance of properly caring for and guiding the children. She also explained the significance and role of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in empowering women and strengthening the community. The federation president, Mrs. Asha, further facilitated discussions related to the meeting. A total of 48 SHG members were present.
